PVC coarted wire-ropes are generally used for cosmetic purposes as decorative restraints, or alternativly they can be used as suspension wires for electrical equipement where the wire needs to be shrouded to stop the possiability of conductivity.
The slings can be rated and certified if the PVC is stripped back around the eye where the ferrule is pressed.
